Chinese (traditional)- Jesus answered them,
“My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.” - He will not permit your foot to stumble;
he who guards you will not fall asleep. - But who am I, and what are your people,
that we should be able to do this?
All things belong to you,
and everything that we have given you is from your hand. - Blessed is the man who perseveres when he is tempted, for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
- How great is your goodness, O Lord,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you,
in the presence of all the people. - Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever receives the one I send
receives me,
and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me. - Those who love your law have great peace;
they encounter no stumbling blocks. - Blessed be the God,
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. - Those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
- No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper,
but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. - Woe to anyone who rises up against his Maker,
or to the pot that is displeased with the potter.
Does the clay say to the one who molds it,
“What are you doing?
Your work makes no sense.” - But whoever endures to the end will be saved.
- No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
- Who then can separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword?
- Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.
- Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. - Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- The Lord abhors lying lips,
but he delights in those who are truthful. - Every word of God has proved to be true;
he is a shield to those who trust in him. - All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
- Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will have their fill. - One who finds a wife finds happiness
and receives favor from the Lord. - Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place. Above all, maintain the fervor of your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.Next verse!With image
