- Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. - For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! - Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
- Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’? - He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But he who is careless of his ways will die. - Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
- He who finds a wife finds a good thing,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known. - Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
- A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. - Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
