But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning, For You have been my refuge And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. | But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. |
They will no longer hunger nor thirst, nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any scorching heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. | They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. | And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. |
You shall not oppress any widow or orphan. If you oppress him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will assuredly hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. | Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me. | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. |
The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. | The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. |
Now I say this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows generously will also reap generously. | But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. |
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. | But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. |
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” | And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. |
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ | For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. |
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. | And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. |
A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it. | And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. |
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. | What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. |
Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness. | O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. |
Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. | Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. |
Know that wisdom is the same for your soul; If you find it, then there will be a future, And your hope will not be cut off. | So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. |
So that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” | So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. |
But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |
For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law. | For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. |
The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me? | The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? |
And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |
My son, if your heart is wise, My own heart also will be glad. | My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. |
But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |
