I will strengthen Judah and save Israel; I will restore them because of my compassion. It will be as though I had never rejected them, for I am the Lord their God, who will hear their cries. | And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them. |
Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. | Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. |

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means. | Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. |
And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. |
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. | And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. |
They will never again be hungry or thirsty; they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun. For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes. | They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. | Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. |
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. | Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. |
I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. | I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. |
But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with him! Whenever you seek him, you will find him. But if you abandon him, he will abandon you. | The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |
Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. | Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. |
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. | And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. |
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. | A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. |
In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord. | Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. | He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. |
You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. | Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. |
And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. | And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. |
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. | If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. |
I will bless my people and their homes around my holy hill. And in the proper season I will send the showers they need. There will be showers of blessing. | And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. |
And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. | And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. |
But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
In those days when you pray, I will listen. | Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. |
Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. | He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. |
