- But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
- But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
- He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
- And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- With my soul have I desired thee in the night;
yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:
for when thy judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy. - The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. - These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
- How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- How much better is it to get wisdom than gold!
and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Next verse!With image
