- Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
- Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
- Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
- And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Labour not to be rich:
cease from thine own wisdom. - When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
- Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
- Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones.
He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.Next verse!With image
