Chinese (traditional)- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Next verse!With image
