Bible Verses about 'Let your light shine'
- Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
 - And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
 - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
 and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
 save me for thy mercies' sake. - Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
 cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
 - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
 and a light unto my path. - For thou wilt light my candle:
 the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
 - Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
 - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
 - The entrance of thy words giveth light;
 it giveth understanding unto the simple. - Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
 - The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
 trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
 and thy judgment as the noonday. - He revealeth the deep and secret things:
 he knoweth what is in the darkness,
 and the light dwelleth with him. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
 - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
 - But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
 - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
 whom shall I fear?
 the Lord is the strength of my life;
 of whom shall I be afraid? - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
 - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
 - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
 let thy glory be above all the earth. - Let all your things be done with charity.
 - For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
 - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
 - Let thine eyes look right on,
 and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
 - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
 and thy glory above all the earth. - No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
 - For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
 neither did their own arm save them:
 but thy right hand, and thine arm,
 and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
 - But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
 - Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
 - O come, let us worship and bow down:
 let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
 - Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
 - Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
 - Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
 - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
 according as we hope in thee. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
 - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
 O let me not wander from thy commandments. - But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.
 - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
 - Let us search and try our ways,
 and turn again to the Lord. - Order my steps in thy word:
 and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. 
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
