- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

- And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
- Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
- Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. - Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
