- Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
- My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
- I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.
- To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling;
there is no flaw in you. - I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live. - Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears. - Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain. - You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands. - Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
- I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever. - You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
- For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
- Direct my footsteps according to your word;
let no sin rule over me.
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.Next verse!With image
