Let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No.” Otherwise you may be condemned. | But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment. |
No one has ever seen God. It is the only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, who has made him known. | No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him. |
No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us. | No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. |
Even though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, even though the olive crop will fail and the orchards will yield no food, even though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, I will continue to rejoice in the Lord, and exult in the God of my salvation. | Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. |
How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms. | For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. |

And just as no human being comprehends any person’s innermost being except the person’s own spirit within him, so also no one comprehends what pertains to God except the Spirit of God. | For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. |

My Father who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one can snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. | And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. |
