- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
- And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

- But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
- And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
- But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
- As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
- Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. - Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
