Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Trust
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. - When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. - Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life. - This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
- Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - For we live by faith, not by sight.
- My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber. - But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
- The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
- So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun. - Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. - And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. - The Lord is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you.Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
