Chinese (traditional)Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him. Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” The fear of others lays a snare,
but one who trusts in the Lord is secure. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Who has performed and done this,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord, am first,
and will be with the last. The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!” Better is a little that the righteous person has
than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I display my holiness before their eyes. Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Do not fear,
I will help you.” How much better to get wisdom than gold!
To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him. This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability. What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. A perverse person spreads strife,
and a whisperer separates close friends. He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.Next verse!With image
