Chinese (traditional)For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. I keep the Lord always before me,
for with him at my right hand
I will never fall. The crowds that preceded him and those that followed kept shouting:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!” Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. When I realized that my foot was slipping,
your kindness, O Lord, raised me up. When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help. Every word you utter is true,
and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. If someone says, “I love God,”
but at the same time hates his brother,
he is a liar.
For whoever does not love the brother
whom he has seen
cannot love God whom he has not seen. There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved. To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. For the Lord takes delight in his people,
and he crowns the humble with salvation. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? You have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body. The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior and a savior.
He will rejoice over you with gladness
and renew you through his love.
He will exult over you with shouts of joy. Those who love your law have great peace;
they encounter no stumbling blocks. Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. I rejoice in following your statutes
more than I would rejoice in endless riches. Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercy and the God of all consolation. He consoles us in all our afflictions and thereby enables us to console others in their tribulations, offering them the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God. God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast
because of their trust in you. Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. For as it is written,
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,
nor has the human heart imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.” During the day the Lord grants his kindness,
and at night his praise is with me,
a prayer to the living God. Whoever possesses the Son
possesses life;
whoever does not possess the Son of God
does not possess life. When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
nor will the waters engulf you.
When you walk through fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not consume you. For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve. But from everlasting to everlasting
the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children,
with those who keep his covenant
and diligently observe his commandments. And thus we can have confidence in him
that if we ask anything
that is in accordance with his will,
he hears us. To him all the Prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name. I lift up my eyes to the mountains;
from where will I receive help?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.Next verse!With image
