Chinese (traditional)Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A fool has no delight in understanding,
But in expressing his own heart. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. He who follows righteousness and mercy
Finds life, righteousness, and honor. Both riches and honor come from You,
And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great
And to give strength to all. I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed. For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower is servant to the lender. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength. “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” My son, keep your father’s command,
And do not forsake the law of your mother. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames are flames of fire,
A most vehement flame. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.Next verse!With image
