Chinese (traditional)Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” Open your mouth, judge righteously,
and serve justice to the poor and needy. So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works. Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way. Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry. Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you,
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life. He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it. A fool despises his father’s correction,
but he who heeds reproof shows prudence. These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture. When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know. Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. A perverse man stirs up strife.
A whisperer separates close friends. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. But I will sing of your strength.
Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning.
For you have been my high tower,
a refuge in the day of my distress. Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself. May Yahweh our God be with us as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us or forsake us. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
but righteousness delivers from death. I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tested.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. Therefore let’s not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother’s way, or an occasion for falling. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. Praise Yah!
Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh,
who delights greatly in his commandments. Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
