Chinese (traditional)And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Open your mouth for the mute,
for the rights of all who are destitute. Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy. But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name. And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven. But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. We love because he first loved us. Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known. O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.Next verse!With image
