And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all
such as are appointed to destruction. But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. We love him, because he first loved us. But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old
through my roaring all the day long. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Next verse!With image
