Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. The integrity of the upright shall guide them:
but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. I have set the Lord always before me:
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.Next verse!With image
