Chinese (traditional)As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. If ye love me, keep my commandments. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine. The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law,
even his prayer shall be abomination. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
