- Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. - Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - As water reflects the face,
so one’s life reflects the heart. - A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for a time of adversity. - Whoever pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity and honor. - Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Next verse!With image
