- Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans. - Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - Whoever would foster love covers over an offense,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. - Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - As water reflects the face,
so one’s life reflects the heart. - A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for a time of adversity. - Whoever pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity and honor. - Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it. - A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
