- Do your duty to the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, so that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. - For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. - But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me in Your faithfulness. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered! - The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - Please, O Lord, do save us;
Please, O Lord, do send prosperity!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord;
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. - Listen, my son, and accept my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - From the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.
- What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
- The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had.
- And because the midwives feared God, He established households for them.
- If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
- “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the Lord of armies, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.”
- Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.
- I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
- Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines,
So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty. - Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.”
