- Who hath wrought and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth. - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
