- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
- I will be glad and rejoice in thee:
I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
- It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,
and hath founded his troop in the earth;
he that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth:
The Lord is his name. - And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me.
