- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

and his paths beyond tracing out! - The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

- God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill? - “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
- Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
