- Who has done this and carried it through,
calling forth the generations from the beginning?
I, the Lord—with the first of them
and with the last—I am he. - You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
- The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.

- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out! - Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
- The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
- You, Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures from generation to generation. - God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill? - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
- Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord.
“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
