and to seek him in his temple. - For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
whose plan is wonderful,
whose wisdom is magnificent. - For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
- Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
- He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
