- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
- The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. - For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
whose plan is wonderful,
whose wisdom is magnificent. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
- While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
- For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
- The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe.
Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
