Chinese (traditional)- Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cries of supplication. - As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper,
but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.
- I shall forgive them for their wicked deeds,
and I shall remember their sins no more. - Yet even so, because of your great compassion,
you did not completely destroy them,
nor did you forsake them,
for you are a gracious and merciful God. - What is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him? - Through the grace that God has bestowed upon me, I advise every one of you not to think of yourself too highly, but to regard yourself objectively, based on the measure of faith that God has granted.
- For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him.
- Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace.
- Let the wicked abandon their ways
and those who are evil their thoughts.
Let them return to the Lord
so that he may have mercy upon them;
and to our God,
for he is rich in forgiveness. - Rend your hearts and not your garments,
and turn back to the Lord, your God.
For he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, rich in kindness,
and always prepared to relent from punishing. - Then Peter came up to him and asked, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy times seven.”
- Return, rebel Israel, says the Lord.
I will not look upon you in anger.
For I am merciful, says the Lord;
my wrath will not continue forever. - Likewise, you who are husbands must show consideration for your wives in your life together. Treat your wife with respect, for even though she is the weaker partner, she is also an equal heir of God’s gift of life. Thus, your prayers will not be hindered in any way.
- The tax collector, however, stood some distance away and would not even raise his eyes to heaven. Rather, he kept beating his breast as he said, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner.’
- When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. Yours, O Lord, are greatness,
power, glory, strength, and majesty,
for everything in heaven and on earth is yours.
Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.Next verse!With image
