- Blessed are those who trust in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
They shall be like a tree planted by water,
sending out its roots by the stream.
It shall not fear when heat comes,
and its leaves shall stay green;
in the year of drought it is not anxious,
and it does not cease to bear fruit. - For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
- Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart.
- See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too hard for me?
- Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - The heart is devious above all else;
it is perverse—
who can understand it?
I the Lord test the mind
and search the heart,
to give to all according to their ways,
according to the fruit of their doings. - Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
