- But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.Next verse! With image
