Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed.
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.
Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.
My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart. My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.
“If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.”“If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to my name,” says Yahweh of Armies, “then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.”
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light.
