Chinese (traditional)- For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. - The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
- And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
- But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
- And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
- For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - If you love Me, keep My commandments.
- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.A fool despises his father’s instruction,
But he who receives correction is prudent. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.Next verse!With image
