- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

- For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
- But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.Next verse!With image
