- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - For the Lord loves justice;
he will not forsake his saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. - Even to your old age I am he,
and to gray hairs I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
- And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.

- O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - For your steadfast love is great to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds. - Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.
- “For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you. - The Rock, his work is perfect,
for all his ways are justice.
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,
just and upright is he. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless,
but destruction to evildoers.
