- God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - For the Lord loves justice,
And does not forsake His saints;
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. - Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
- And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
- The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
- For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - In all labor there is profit,
But idle chatter leads only to poverty. - But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
- For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth. - You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens,
And Your truth unto the clouds. - Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’
- “For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. - The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. - Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;
Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness. - He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
