- The grass withers and the flowers fade,
but the word of our God stands forever. - The Lord is righteous in everything he does;
he is filled with kindness. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken. - It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity,

Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you. - Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed!
- Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything
until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets. - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.
- An honest witness does not lie;
a false witness breathes lies. - “Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,
but tear your hearts instead.”
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is merciful and compassionate,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
He is eager to relent and not punish. - May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.
- The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in those who tell the truth. - You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.
