Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind. | Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. |

Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. | As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. |
Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin. | Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. |
Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long. | Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. |
