- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” - Whoever possesses the Son
possesses life;
whoever does not possess the Son of God
does not possess life. - And the world with all its enticements

but whoever does the will of God
abides forever. - However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
- As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing.
- Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- I write these things to you
who believe in the name of the Son of God
so that you may know
that you have eternal life. - I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.
- Rather, seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- However, to those who did accept him
and who believed in his name
he granted the power to become children of God. - The way of God is blameless;

who flee to him for safety. - Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways!
