- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
- For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
- But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

- And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
- But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
- Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
- Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
- Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
- Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
- Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people. - Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.Next verse!With image
