Chinese (traditional)- Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
- There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call.
- But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
- For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.” - Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
- And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover him with favor as with a shield. - For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.
- For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night. - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
- And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
- Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
- However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
as you have said. - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
- The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.Next verse!With image
