- Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

- Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the Lord. - Do not be deceived:
“Bad company ruins good morals.” - The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
- Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds.
- Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.
- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
- Know that wisdom is such to your soul;
if you find it, you will find a future,
and your hope will not be cut off. - Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
- To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
- Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them as their God;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.” - Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken. - I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
- You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord!
