- Before destruction the heart of man is haughty,
and before honour is humility. - O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
- If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
- I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me. - The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Before the mountains were brought forth,

- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - A man's gift maketh room for him,

- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

- Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

- Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
