his praise endureth for ever. - Hast thou not known?
hast thou not heard,
that the everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
- For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
- I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
- Labour not to be rich:
cease from thine own wisdom. - Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.
- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

and a prudent wife is from the Lord. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
- Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
- Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
