and he will see that your paths are straight. - Do not worry about anything, but present your needs to God in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

that corrode one’s inner being. - I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

Achieving purification from sins,
he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high. - Jesus replied,
“My kingdom does not belong to this world.
If my kingdom did belong to this world,
my followers would have fought
to prevent me from being handed over to the Jews.
The fact is that my kingdom is not here.” - A house and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is a gift from the Lord. - Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
if he closes his lips, he is regarded as intelligent. - Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.
- While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ.
- No prophecy ever came from human initiative. Rather, when people spoke as messengers of God, they did so under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
