and the borrower becomes the slave of the lender. - The misfortunes of the righteous man are many,
but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. - Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- The blessing of the Lord is what brings wealth,
and our toil adds nothing to it. - Blessings are showered on the head of the righteous,
but sorrow will cover the face of the wicked. - Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in accord with the law of the Lord. - The name of the Lord is a tower of strength;
the upright man runs to it and finds refuge. - Then it will come to pass
that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. - Blessed is the man whom God reproves.
Therefore, do not reject the discipline of the Almighty. - Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
