- In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.
- Keep me safe, O God,
for I have come to you for refuge. - Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
- I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me. - Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take. - The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it. - For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
- I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires. - Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting,
“Praise God for the Son of David!
Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Praise God in highest heaven!” - The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble.
