Bible Verses about 'Find'
- A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies. - You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
- Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
- Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
- For those who find me find life
and receive favor from the Lord. - But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
- Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
and your hope will not be cut off. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding. - This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him. - The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power;
in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. - Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
- Whoever pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity and honor. - The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. - For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
- He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - Fools find no pleasure in understanding
but delight in airing their own opinions. - Praise the Lord.
Blessed are those who fear the Lord,
who find great delight in his commands. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
- Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. - This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.
- When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.
- I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
- Remember your Creator
in the days of your youth,
before the days of trouble come
and the years approach when you will say,
“I find no pleasure in them”. - The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
- Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near. - I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands. - Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
- So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path. - “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. - But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the Lord’s anger. - Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.Next verse!With image
