- O Lord, all my longing is known to you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house.
- Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Get wisdom; get insight: do not forget, nor turn away
from the words of my mouth. - For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one. - Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
- For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.
- The Lord will keep you from all evil;
he will keep your life.
The Lord will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time on and forevermore. - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.
- From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
- Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit,
but righteousness delivers from death. - The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”
- If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
- I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.
- She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
- If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
