- Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

- He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.
- We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.
God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. - But for us,
There is one God, the Father,
by whom all things were created,
and for whom we live.
And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things were created,
and through whom we live. - For the Lord is our judge,
our lawgiver, and our king.
He will care for us and save us. - For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
- And may the Lord our God show us his approval
and make our efforts successful.
Yes, make our efforts successful! - The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced.
- When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
- Help us, O God of our salvation!
Help us for the glory of your name.
Save us and forgive our sins
for the honor of your name. - You have tested us, O God;
you have purified us like silver. - For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.
- When doubts filled my mind,
your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. - May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.
- For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
