Chinese (traditional)- All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
- I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one.
- For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
- Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- Thus he has given us, through these things, his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of lust, and may become participants of the divine nature.
- Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.
- See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.
- This is what I have seen to be good: it is fitting to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of the life God gives us; for this is our lot.
- The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
- For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
- For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well.
- Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
- And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- I will satisfy the weary,
and all who are faint I will replenish. - You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.
- But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.
- Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
- If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
- Therefore God also highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
every knee should bend,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth. - All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- A generous person will be enriched,
and one who gives water will get water.
For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot. Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”Next verse! With image
